Getting Tickets

Back to Top of List

You might think that with the Braves recent success, tickets might be a little pricey. While that may be true if you want to sit field level, there are plenty of ways to attend a game on a budget.

First, we have to say that there'struly not a bad seat in the house at Truist Park. From the general admission seating, to the outfield, tostanding-room only, you'll get a great view of the action from anywhere in the ballpark. The picture below is taken from the general admission seating area, and as you can see, you get a perfect vantage point of the actionplus a picturesque sunset view.

Ticket pricing all comes down to what team they are playing and what day of the week it happens to be, with weekend ticket prices being slightly higher. If you plan far enough in advance, you can snag general admission tickets for as low as $15, upper level seating for $21, and outfield seating for $32. Lower level seating can be a little harder to come by because they are usually held by season ticket holders, butyou can still find them being resold either on ticketmaster.com or a third-party site. Pro tip: you can find more ticket deals on the Buy/Sell/Trade Atlanta Braves Ticket Facebook Group.

Also, the Braves ticketing operations team is constantly offeringpromotions and packages that can bring the cost of a single ticket to as low as $6 (before ticketing app fees). Sign up for an account on their website, and opt-in to marketing deals to get alerts when promotions go live. You can also check out some of theupcoming promos, which include bobblehead giveaways, college alumni nights, and even a Harry Potter night.

There are a few ticket packages that run all year long including a batting practice experience, Coca-Cola Wednesday's, where you can sit in the Coca-Cola corner and enjoy one complimentary co*ke product for only $18, and the T-Mobile Braves Value Pack, which allows you to choose from three different seating locations with a snack and drink included for as low as $25.

If you aren't staying at the Sonesta Atlanta Northwest Galleria, whichoffers a free shuttle to the stadium, we highly suggest utilizing rideshare apps like Lyft or Uber to get to and from the stadium. Truist Park has a drop-off and pick-up location designated specifically for rideshare services near Third Base Gate at the Battery Delta Deck. This is also a great option becauseyou can enjoy one of the many different alcoholic drink options at the Battery and the stadium worry-free (if you're 21 or older, of course).

If you do decide to drive yourself, we recommendpurchasing a parking pass along with your ticket to one of the many parking decks and lots scattered around the area. These passes run anywhere from $10-$30, depending the lot. If you don't mind a walk, lot E47 is only $10 and is relatively easy to get in and out of pre and post game.

Pro tip: If you park inthe Red, Green, Yellow, or Purple decks located within the Battery Atlanta and spend $50 or more during your visit, bring your receipts to the parking attendant, and they will validate your parking! If you are in a group, they will give one validation for every $50 spent.

For those that require accessible parking,ADA parking is available in parking lot N29 and the Red Deck. You will need to have a valid ADA hangtagto be allowed to park in these designated spots. There'sa shuttle that will pick you up and drop you off at Battery Avenue, just outside the Third Base Gate.

We mentioned The Battery earlier, and if you aren't familiar with it, it's a collection of shops, restaurants, and attractions that connect to Truist Park. It's become a local favorite because of its pure versatility! You can hit up a brewery, have a fancy meal, play simulated golf, see a show at the Coca-Cola Roxy venue, and, of course, catch a Braves baseball game.

For many Braves fans, it's become a game-day tradition to hang out in the Battery pregame, so make sure to stop by and see all it has to offer. You'll be sure to make a few new friends, as long as you aren't rooting for the opposing team, of course! There's also a huge Braves sign and an oversized 2021 World Series ring that make for great photo ops as well; you can't miss them.

The Stadium Experience

Back to Top of List

On gameday, we recommend you get to the stadium gates at least an hour before the game starts, and if it happens to be the day of a bobblehead giveaway or another promotion, be there an hour and a half early just to be safe. Not only will it ensure that you have a smooth entry process, but you'll have plenty of time to explore the park, visit the team store, and even snag some food without missing a second of the action. (To see all of Truist Park's entry and security policies, click here.)

Speaking of food, there are a variety of grub options for you to choose from. You have southern classics like Chick-Fil-A and Waffle House, and even some Truist Park originals like the 1871 Grille. Like every major-league park, food prices do have a bit of a premium, so be prepared. If you're looking to save a little bit of money, Truist Park does allow you to bring a clear, one-gallon ziplock bag of food into the park, which is perfect for sandwiches and other snack-sized foods. Is it a true baseball experience without getting yourself a ballpark hotdog, though?

Protip: Download the MLB Ballpark app, and set your location to Truist Park; from there, you can order ahead from select concession vendors and the team store from the comfort of your seat! You can also take part in the various mid-game big-screen activities, like voting for the 7th inning stretch song.

Another plus of arriving at the park early is that you'll be to snag a good spot inside the Chop House, which is a bar and restaurant located in right field. There are some first-come, first-serve spots where you can stand. Theyprovide a great view of the game and may be a small upgrade if you purchased upper-level tickets. These spots do fill up fast and can get crowded once the game starts, so take that into account.

The parkalso hasa plethora of exhibits for fans to check out. Head over to the Monument Garden in the lower level of Section 125, where you are greeted by a 9-foot-tall Hank Aaron statue. There, you can find the history of Braves jerseys, plaques for all of the Hall of Famers, artifacts from memorable moments in franchise history, and more!

As we've said earlier, Truist Park is truly an amazing experience for baseball and non-baseball fans alike. From pregame experiences like on-field access to watch batting practice to running the bases to Friday night fireworks, the actual baseball game is only a small part of what the park has to offer. You can check out their promotions schedule to find out what special events and offerings they've got coming up!

If you aren't able to snag ticket to a game, no worries! There are plenty of spots in Sandy Springs to watch the Braves play. Click the blog post below to learn more!
