Can you find uranium on alien planet space engineers? ›

In space, you recognise this cyan and pink planet by its reddish moon Titan. Almost every ore can be found here with the exceptions being as usual Platinum and Uranium. While the ore veins may be fewer, they are much larger in volume.

If you land in the warmer biomes, the planet may seem to lack ice. Without the easy gathering of fuel for the hydrogen thrusters needed to overcome the planet's higher gravity, escape from the Alien planet may seem an insurmountable task. Exploration will lead you to ice lakes in the cooler reaches.

Uranium Ore is the rarest naturally-occurring ore. The ore has a dark gray and deep black appearance which is well visible against a sunlit asteroid. As of version 1.189, Uranium ore cannot be found on planets.

These operate only on planets with atmospheres. These are operating on all the moons except the Moon (Earthlike's moon). These are the most efficient source of thrust in an atmosphere, better than hydrogen thrusters. Using these on Alien planet is the most advantageous as these are 20% more efficient there.

The Space Pirates are a hostile NPC Faction of pirates that harass the Engineer relentlessly. Their aim and purpose is unknown, but what is known is that they desire the destruction of anything the Engineer produces.

Are there any NPCs in Space Engineers? ›

There are NPC factions and Player factions. Once a faction is created in a world, it will not be dismissed until the last player or last NPC leaves. (Note that NPCs in the vanilla game don't appear as Engineers, there are only drones, ships, and stations.)

The Crashed UFO and Alien Blaster can be found at an unmarked map location. It's off the road to the north of the ruins of Somerville (north-east of Vault 81, south-west of the Beantown Brewery), you can discover a downed flying saucer by following the path of destruction it left through the woods.

In Space Engineers, Platinum Ore only exists on asteroids and moons, not planets, and this mineral doesn't spawn on every asteroid and moon either. Its light-gray color can also make it difficult to see at first glance as it can blend with surrounding terrain relatively well.

As of patch 1.189, Space Engineers players can no longer find Uranium Ore in planets. Instead, you can only find it on asteroids. You'll know if you found a Uranium Ore gathering spot by its color, which has a mixture of dark gray and deep black. The ore deposit is also reasonably visible under sunlight.

Uranium occurs naturally in the Earth's crust, water, air, and living organisms. Uranium has been processed at U.S. government facilities since 1943 and at commercial facilities since the 1950s. Uranium enrichment and reprocessing still occurs in the United States.
